Professional, Compassionate Support for AdultsWelcome. I’m a qualified counsellor offering face-to-face sessions in Christchurch and Highcliffe (Dorset), as well as online and telephone counselling for adults across the UK.

Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to face alone. You may feel anxious, low, or unsure what step to take next. Counselling provides a calm, confidential space to pause, reflect and explore your thoughts at your own pace - without pressure or judgement. Just reaching out is a positive first step.

How I Help

What Is Counselling?Counselling is a talking therapy that offers you a safe and confidential space to explore whatever might be going on for you. It’s a chance to step away from the demands of everyday life and talk things through in a place where you can feel heard and supported. It’s not about being given advice or told what to do. Instead, it’s about working things through together - helping you make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and develop a clearer understanding of yourself. As you begin to talk more openly, you may start to notice patterns in how you think and feel, or begin to see things differently. Counselling can help you feel less overwhelmed, more grounded and more able to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

How I WorkI work in an integrative, person-centred way, guided by what matters most to you. My approach is grounded in the therapeutic relationship - built on trust, respect and understanding - and informed by a trauma-aware perspective that prioritises safety and choice. There’s no pressure and no set pace. Sessions move in a way that feels comfortable for you, giving you the time and space to reflect and process at your own pace.Where it feels helpful, I may introduce gentle, CBT-informed tools such as grounding exercises or coping strategies. These are always optional and used collaboratively, supporting you in managing difficult thoughts and emotions. You can expect a non-judgmental and supportive space, with counselling tailored to your individual needs. I see you as the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in making sense of your experiences.

I work with adults experiencing, but not limited to:
• Addiction-related issues
• ADHD
• Anxiety or low mood
• Feeling overwhelmed or stuck
• Loss and grief
• Low confidence or self-esteem
• Trauma or difficult life experiences
